Bart’s Legacy Cat

* Bart’s Legacy Cat Sanctuary, located in Rochdale, serves Rochdale, Oldham, and sometimes beyond for suitable homes. It is a safe haven for stray cats and kittens. All cats are neutered, microchipped, health-checked, and treated for fleas and worms before being rehomed. Feral cats are also neutered, assessed, and rehomed if suitable, or returned to safe locations. Founded in 2018, Bart’s Legacy is a small, unique sanctuary at the borders of Rochdale, Oldham, and Saddleworth. It is named after Bart Simpson, a special cat who lives happily with his human and feline family. The founder, with over 40 years of experience rescuing animals, is passionate about helping not only cats but other animals too. Bart’s is a friendly and nonjudgemental sanctuary. We understand that no one knows the full story behind a cat’s homelessness or why someone might need to rehome their pet. At Bart’s, we aim to support owners in need.
