Animal rescue organisation**Animal Rescue Cumbria – The Wainwright Shelter** Registered Charity No. 1153737. Founded in 1972, Animal Rescue Cumbria rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes around 350 cats and dogs each year. Located in Kendal, we assist with the rescue and rehoming of both cats and dogs across Cumbria. Many animals come into our care for various reasons, with unclaimed strays from local authority kennels constituting a significant part.

Appeal for Older Cats: ** ARC has many middle-aged cats and 'senior kittizens' waiting for a home. These animals have years of love and companionship to offer. If you can provide a home for an older cat, please give us a call! **Help!
